This is a list of all the equipment we have purchased. As you can see it is an eclectic mix of items, from foam padding for seats to make life that bit more comfortable (total cost £360), to cutting edge Enteroscopy equipment to help with a quicker and more precise diagnosis, (total cost £42,200). We buy the things that the hospitals need or want, but that is not provided for them in their current budget. We work very closely with the consultants to ensure that the money you raise and donate is put to the very best use. To see some of the differences made by the equipment we provide have a look at these two examples in depth. The ultrasound unit and nano facial masks both of which were provided for the area recently at the request of the hospital involved.

Our most recent purchase was an ultrasound scanner for the Rapid Diagnosis Centre at Neath Port Talbot Hospital which cost £80,000 and will be used in the Head and Neck Lump Clinic. Please follow the link below for more information about the scanner and how it will be used.

Take a closer  look at three of the items we have purchased recently, and more importantly the difference it has made to cancer sufferers in the time taken to get treated or diagnosed.

This map shows the area covered by the Swansea Bay University Health Board, this is the area we provide equipment for. All the money we raise goes to helping the three main hospitals in this area, it's not just Neath and Port Talbot residents that benefit but anyone being treated by the Swansea Bay Health Board.
